College of DuPage Humble Data Workshop

Are you curious about data but not sure where to start? The Humble Data Workshop is a beginner-friendly, hands-on introduction to data science using Python. Designed especially for newcomers and those from underrepresented backgrounds in tech, this workshop will give you the skills and confidence to begin your journey into data science.

You’ll learn the fundamentals of working with data using tools like Jupyter Notebooks, pandas, and matplotlib. Whether you’re interested in data analysis, research, or coding for social good, this workshop will help you take your first steps. Best of all, you don’t need any prior coding experience—just bring your curiosity!

Participants will work in small groups led by friendly mentors from the College of DuPage Computer Science Club, who will guide you through exercises and help answer your questions in real-time.
